We offer a variety of group fitness classes at Phillip Island Leisure Centre.

This includes over 80 group fitness classes throughout the week, with instructor-led classes at peak times and virtual classes throughout the day. So whether you're looking for a full-body workout or prefer gentle exercise, we've got a class for you.

Both members and non-members are welcome to join the sessions.

Timetable and bookings

Take a look at our timetable of classes below. You can then book your group fitness class online. For help with your booking, please refer to the guides at the bottom of this page.

Book a class

  • How to book a group fitness class online
    1. Login to your online account using your email address and password. 
    2. Select ‘Book’ from the main menu.
    3. Select ‘Group Fitness / Play Gym’ from the sub-menu.
    4. Use the category filter to select your activity type i.e. 'Group Fitness - Dry 'or' Group Fitness - Strength'             
    5. Find the class you want to book and select 'Book now'.
    6. Select 'Book now' again.                                                                                       
      • Accounts with multiple payment plans will be prompted which individual they wish to register. 
    7. Make payment (casuals only). 
      • Pay for a single session via credit / debit card. 

    Credit / debit card

    1. Enter your credit / debit card details.
    2. Make payment.
    3. Check for your email for confirmation.
  • How to cancel a group fitness booking
    1. Login to your online account
      • Use your email and password.
    2. Cancel booking
      • Navigate to 'My Bookings'.
      • Select 'Cancel Booking'.
  • Group fitness class guidelines
    • Please be early, late entry after five minutes is not permitted
    • Be prepared with your workout gear, towel and water bottle
    • Be respectful and supportive of your fellow participants and our talented instructors
    • Be upfront with your instructor about any physical limitations or injuries you may have, especially if you're pregnant
    • Let the instructor know if it’s your first time in a fitness class
    • The minimum age to attend group fitness is 13 years
    • The minimum age to attend a Body Pump class is 16 years
    • If you need to leave early, do so in a way that won’t impact others or the flow of the class
    • Please put your equipment away after the class
  • Booking conditions

    Bookings open five days before the class start time (to the minute).

    Cancellation policy

    Casuals / multi-visits: Please cancel your booking no later than 60 minutes before the class in order to get a product return added to your online account. Bookings cannot be cancelled after your booking or less than 60 minutes prior and are not allocated a credit.
